The Detoni family journey started in 1964 with Umbertos parents Maria and Antonio opening a corner store in Palmyra. Umbertos wife Kath also comes from a family who owned corner stores for most of her childhood. Customer service is deeply rooted in their DNA. With this love for good food and proud Italian roots, Umberto’s was born out of our passion to share an abundance of high-quality, delicious food with our community.
We pride ourselves on sourcing the finest local ingredients to create a range of baked goods that are not only delicious but made with genuine love and care.
Umbertos has been part of the Gwelup community as a family-run business for over 15 years, where we combined our love for baking and local business with a focus on creating food that brings people together and leaves everyone feeling a taste of home.
