Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Prepare the Cob Loaf: – Cut the top off the cob loaf and set it aside. – Hollow out the loaf, keeping the bread pieces for dipping.
Make the Filling: – In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and French onion soup mix until well combined. – Stir in the defrosted, drained spinach, and cheddar cheese if using.
Fill the Loaf: – Spoon the mixture into the hollowed cob loaf. – Place the top back on the loaf and arrange the bread chunks on a baking tray.
Bake: – Drizzle a little olive oil over the bread chunks if desired. – Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the filling is hot and the bread is crisp.
Serve: Serve warm, using the bread chunks for dipping.
